Old Joe's is ideally located as a 'Getaway' or 'Stepping Stone' to the splendours of Mpumalanga/Lowveld. An easy 3 hours from Johannesburg and only a mornings drive through the splendours of the Lowveld to most of the Game Parks. Accommodating a maximum of 28 guests, with a choice of Log Cabins, Rondavels or "Kaia Rooms". Each has its own bathroom and balcony and are all decorated with innovation and style. Conferences are catered for in a unique Log Cabin Facility.

Mealtime is an event in itself - wholesome country breakfasts and romantic lamplit dinners are served in the dining room. Lunches can be taken outside in the picturesque gardens, or if you prefer you can have a romantic picnic at the river's edge. The gardens are breathtaking and reflect all the splendours of the lowveld. There is a swimming pool along with beautiful river trails on the banks of the Crocodile River, a mountain hike and abundant birdlife.
