NEWS Mr. Gay South Africa™ 2010 - The Winners 1 December, 2010 The Winner - Francois Nel JOHANNESBURG — This weekend saw the crowning of Mr Gay SA 2010. At a glittering, gala event at The Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City, 28 year old Francois Nel, was proclaimed this year's winner. Francois, a make up artist who hails from Pretoria also won the titles of Mr. Personality, Bone Wear Model of the Year and Mr. CW Design Jewellers. He was also one of the top three as voted for by the SMS lines. Truly a deserving winner who will represnt South Africa in the Mr Gay World competition in Manila, in the Philippines, in March next year. First runner up was André Lammers who was also voted into the top three on the SMS vote and second runner up was Karl-Heinz Michel. Contestant Jared Lee Smit won the title of Schwarzkopf Model of the Year and was another of the top three in the SMS contest.
