This tender film explores blossoming love - and its inherent frustrations as a warm, sexy gay couple pursue their secret love under the self- and command-imposed restraints of the Israeli Army. Unit Commander, Yossi, is torn between his love for the boyishly charming Jagger, and army rules. Jagger becomes frustrated with their brief moments of joy, and dreams of escaping the army and making love to Yossi in a Queen bed.
Set in an isolated snowbound outpost on the Lebanese border, the film is beautifully developed through the exuberant and endearing personalities of the young national servicemen, and occasional servicewomen, living their lives on the edge.
