CAPE TOWN — Cape Town Pride is very pleased to announce that the preparations for 2010 Cape Town Pride Festival and Parade are underway. The fabulous annual pink festival is planned to happen from 26 February until 7 March 2010, with many of the popular annual events that you have come to love along with some exciting new events that you won’t want to miss. The Parade will happen on Saturday 6 March.

Cape Town Pride will be undergoing some big changes in the build up to next year’s festival so keep your eyes on the press and on Cape Town Pride’s website for more information. Please join our Facebook Group and our LinkedIn Group. You can also follow us on Twitter.
At a recent board meeting a new board of directors was selected. Some of the previous members of the board have left and we welcome many new faces have joined the board. We would also like to welcome some of the community’s long time supporters. Together we are sure that this team along with the organising committee will make the 2010 Cape Town Pride Festival one to remember. Call for Organising Committee Members
On 3 November there will be a meeting held at Manhattans in Green Point. Please join us at 18:00 and volunteer your services and talents. If you feel that you want to contribute to the community please come and join us, even if you don’t think that there is anything that you can do that would help, please come anyway and speak to us or just leave your contact information and we will be sure to find a way to include you.
