29 January, 2010
CAPE TOWN — Cape Town Pride is extremely keen to have all of you join us in making CT Pride 2010 an event that reflects the depth, breadth and extent of our "community", friends, family and associates. Please use the festival as a platform for your organisation's concerns. The Pride organising committee is meeting every Tuesday at the new Pride office at Cape Quarter (in Dixon Street) - please join us so that we can work towards Pride's ultimate aim to "Unite the Cultures of Cape Town".
We urge you / your organisation to enter a float on the Parade day which takes place on 6th March - it's the one day of the year that we get to be visible and voluble. The float application form can be downloaded from the website - www.capetownpride.org (under "Pride 2010" tab). There is also an opportunity for NGOs to have a presence at the after Parade party. Stall application forms will soon be available on the website.
